Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) exhaust manifold gaskets are engineered for high-output environments where traditional composite gaskets fail. These gaskets feature a multi-layer stainless steel construction that provides exceptional rebound and resistance to the shearing forces created by different cylinder head and manifold expansion rates. The outer layers are embossed and coated with Viton, a heat-resistant fluoroelastomer rated to 250°C (482°F), ensuring a reliable seal across various surface finishes and load conditions without the need for additional sealants.
- Maintains a precise torque set and will not burn through or push out
- Stainless steel layers resist corrosion and provide superior strength
