Fits 1990-2001 Acura Integra GS, LS, RS, and Special Edition with B18A/B non-VTEC engines.
The Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gasket provides superior sealing performance for high-output Honda/Acura B-Series builds. Constructed from multiple layers of embossed stainless steel, this gasket is designed to handle the shearing forces found in aluminum head/cast iron block combinations and aluminum-to-aluminum setups alike. The outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton, a heat-resistant fluoroelastomer capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250°C (482°F), ensuring a reliable seal in harsh combustion environments.
By utilizing an embossed design, Cometic MLS gaskets require less clamp load than traditional gaskets, which helps to minimize cylinder bore distortion and ensures even load distribution across the sealing surface. This gasket is designed for use without sealants and offers excellent rebound and corrosion resistance for long-term durability.
