Cometic 84mm .040" MLS Head Gasket for 1988-2001 Honda/Acura LS/VTEC Hybrid (C4193-040)

Fits select 1988-2001 Honda Prelude, CR-V, and Acura Integra (B18A/B and B20 blocks). This Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) head gasket is engineered specifically for LS/VTEC or B20/VTEC hybrid engine conversions, where a VTEC cylinder head is mated to a non-VTEC bottom end.

Constructed from multiple layers of embossed stainless steel, this gasket provides superior sealing for high-output naturally aspirated or forced induction builds. The outer layers are coated with Viton rubber, designed to handle temperatures up to 250°C (482°F) and accommodate various surface finishes. The MLS design requires less clamp load than traditional gaskets, resulting in reduced bore distortion and more even load distribution across the sealing surface.
