Fits FWD Nissan SR20VE and SR20VET engines. This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is engineered for high-output builds, providing a superior seal for both naturally aspirated and forced induction applications without the need for additional sealants.
Constructed from multiple layers of embossed 304 stainless steel, the gasket features outer layers coated in Viton—a fluoroelastomer rubber capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250°C (482°F). The MLS design is specifically built to handle the different thermal expansion rates between the cylinder head and block, effectively resisting the shearing forces that compromise standard composite gaskets. This specific variant is designed for FWD blocks and features an 87mm bore with no extra oil holes to match specific head/block coolant and oil passage configurations.
