Fits select 2000-2017 Nissan and Infiniti vehicles with VQ30DE and VQ35DE (Non VQ30DE-K) engines, including 350Z, G35, Maxima, and Frontier. This Right Hand Side (RHS) head gasket is engineered for high-performance applications that demand superior sealing without the use of additional sealants.
The Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) gasket features multiple layers of embossed stainless steel to provide maximum strength and resistance to corrosion. The outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton, a high-temperature fluoroelastomer capable of withstanding environments up to 250°C (482°F). This specialized coating ensures a reliable seal across varying surface finishes and load conditions, while the uncoated stainless center shim allows for precise thickness management. By requiring lower clamp loads, this design helps minimize bore distortion compared to traditional gasket materials.
