Constructed from multiple layers of embossed stainless steel, these gaskets offer superior rebound and corrosion resistance. This design is ideal for maintaining a reliable seal between aluminum heads and either aluminum or cast iron blocks, effectively managing the shearing forces created by different thermal expansion rates.

The outer layers are coated with Viton, a high-performance fluoroelastomer capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250°C (482°F). This coating ensures a tight seal across a variety of surface finishes and load conditions. The internal stainless steel shim layer allows for precise thickness control while reducing bore distortion by requiring less clamp load than traditional gaskets.
