The COMP Cams Phaser Limiter Kit is a specialized solution for maintaining engine safety when upgrading to high-performance camshafts. While factory variable valve timing (VVT) provides efficiency, larger cam profiles often risk piston-to-valve interference. This U.S. patented tool restricts maximum cam phasing to 14 crank degrees (7 cam degrees), providing the necessary clearance for more aggressive profiles.
By limiting the phaser's range rather than locking it completely, this kit allows you to capture significant upper-RPM horsepower gains without sacrificing the low-end torque and mid-range response that VVT provides. This is the first phaser tool designed specifically for the unique requirements of the Chrysler HEMI architecture.
