COMP Cams Beehive Valve Springs are engineered to deliver superior valvetrain stability and reduced reciprocating weight compared to traditional cylindrical springs. This specialized Beehive design allows for the use of a smaller, lighter retainer, reducing overall valvetrain mass. The unique shape and oval/multi-arc wire design more efficiently handle valvetrain stress and eliminate damaging harmonics, which increases high-RPM horsepower and long-term durability.

Optimized for Big Block engines, these springs are compatible with hydraulic or solid flat tappet cams as well as hydraulic roller camshafts. The wire shape places the maximum surface area at the points of highest stress, allowing for improved heat dissipation. With a 0.600-inch maximum lift capacity, these springs accommodate aggressive camshaft profiles while maintaining precise valve control with lower spring pressure.
