The CSF 8088 is a high-performance all-aluminum upgrade for the Mercedes-Benz 4.0L V8 bi-turbo charge air cooling system. This front-mount heat exchanger replaces the factory plastic-and-aluminum unit with a high-capacity 42mm core to maintain lower intake air temperatures (IATs). In independent testing by Regal Autosport, this unit delivered up to a 68% reduction in IATs and a 400% improvement in heat soak recovery compared to the stock configuration, ensuring consistent power delivery during spirited driving or track use.
