The Cusco Brake Cylinder Stopper (also known as a Master Cylinder Brace) is a bolt-on performance upgrade designed to eliminate the firewall flex that occurs during heavy braking. In the 2002-2007 Impreza chassis, the sheet metal of the firewall can deflect under the pressure of the brake master cylinder, resulting in a spongy or mushy pedal feel. By providing a rigid stop against the end of the master cylinder, this brace ensures that all your foot's effort is translated into hydraulic pressure rather than mechanical distortion.
Crafted for USDM left-hand drive (LHD) models, this component significantly sharpens brake pedal response and improves modulation for more consistent performance on the street or track. The unit features Cusco's signature blue finish and is engineered to mount securely to existing factory points without the need for custom fabrication.
