The Cusco Type ALC-OS front strut tower bar is engineered to increase chassis rigidity on the AE86 platform by reinforcing the front suspension towers. Under heavy cornering loads, the strut towers can flex, leading to inconsistent steering response and geometry changes. This bar ties the towers together to distribute load more evenly, sharpening turn-in and improving overall front-end feedback.
The ALC-OS series represents an evolution of the classic Type OS design, utilizing a high-rigidity oval aluminum shaft wrapped in a decorative and reinforcing layer of real carbon fiber. The steel end plates are finished in signature Cusco Blue and precision-cut for a direct bolt-on installation using factory mounting points.
