The DBA XS 5000 Series replacement rotor ring (DBA52910.1XS) is a high-performance flat disc designed to replace the friction surface on DBA and other compatible two-piece rotor configurations. This allows for a cost-effective brake service by reusing the existing aluminum hats. The XS design features a premium cross-drilled and slotted pattern that provides a more aggressive bite, efficient outgassing of brake pad volatiles, and superior heat dissipation during high-performance driving.
- XS Design: Combination of cross-drilling and slotting for maximum cooling and pad deglazing.
- High-Carbon Alloy: Enhanced thermal capacity and resistance to heat checking compared to standard cast iron.
- CBN Turned: Precision-machined using Cubic Boron Nitride for minimal Disc Thickness Variation (DTV) and reduced brake shudder.
- Heat Paint: Functional thermosographic paint markings change color to monitor peak rotor temperatures.
