DEI Cool Tape 10408 is an ultra-lightweight, professional-grade thermal insulating solution designed to protect sensitive components from extreme temperatures. This tape is constructed from one-mil aluminized material bonded to a woven glass fiber heat-resistant matting, providing a durable and flexible barrier against both radiant and direct heat sources.
This self-adhesive tape is engineered for wrapping wire looms, cables, hoses, and fuel lines to prevent heat soak and vapor lock. It is also an effective solution for sealing air boxes, securing body panels, and providing a clean, finished edge to thermal barriers such as Reflect-A-Cool or Floor & Tunnel Shield II. Note: Do not apply this tape directly to exhaust components.
- Radiant Heat Protection: Reflects up to 2000°F of radiant heat.
- Direct Heat Resistance: Withstands continuous direct temperatures up to 400°F.
