The DEI Fire Sleeve (MPN 94470) provides essential thermal protection and abrasion resistance for fuel, transmission, and brake lines, as well as critical electrical wiring. Designed for high-heat environments, this sleeve is constructed from braided fiberglass material and heavily coated with 100% iron oxide silicone rubber to deflect radiant heat and withstand direct contact.
- Temperature Resistance: Withstands up to 500°F (260°C) of continuous heat and 2000°F (1093°C) of intermittent heat.
- Construction: High-temperature braided glass sleeve with a heavy silicone rubber coating for maximum insulation.
- Versatile Application: Ideal for bundling hoses and protecting lines from heat soak and physical wear under the hood.
- Sizing Specs: 3/8-inch (0.375") Inner Diameter (ID) provided in a 100-foot bulk spool.
The 3/8" ID is specifically suited for 3AN, 4AN, and 6AN lines (6AN provides a tight fit). The material offers approximately 1/16" to 1/8" of stretch, which aids in installation over lines with existing fittings. Please note that Fire Tape is not included and is recommended for sealing the ends of the sleeve.
