Protect your engine bay and improve turbocharger efficiency with the DEI Gen-3 Onyx Series T4 Turbo Shield. This Gen-3 shield (MPN 10269) utilizes a multi-layer design to contain extreme heat within the turbo housing, reducing under-hood temperatures and minimizing turbo lag for faster spool-up.
- Silicone-Coated Outer Shell: The Onyx Black outer layer is silicone-coated to withstand extreme conditions, encase seams for 4x more strength, and prevent fraying.
- Advanced Insulation: A thick silica inner insulation layer provides low thermal conductivity to keep heat where it belongs.
- Multi-Layer Construction: Features a core of glass fiber, stainless steel mesh, and silicone to maximize thermal resistance and seam durability.
- High-Temp Inner Cover: The stainless steel inner fabric is designed to resist becoming brittle or breaking down under high-heat cycles.
- Secure Mounting: Integrated riveted anchors provide a solid point for securing the shield to the turbo housing.
Fitment Specifications:
This T4-sized shield is designed to fit turbochargers with a circumference of 20" to 22" and a width of 2.75" (not including flanges). This item includes the turbo shield only.
