DEI Heat Screen (MPN 10399) provides a highly effective thermal solution for blocking engine and exhaust heat from intruding into vehicle interiors and sensitive components. This flexible barrier is constructed from 0.060-inch thick high-temperature resistant fiberglass bonded to a superior aluminized surface designed to reflect radiant energy. It is ideal for protecting floorboards, body panels, and fuel tanks, and can be used under carpeting to prevent paint blistering and interior heat soak.
- Reflects up to 2000°F of radiant heat and withstands up to 1200°F of direct heat.
- Large 36 in. x 20 in. sheet can be easily trimmed to fit specific applications.
- Low-profile 0.060 in. thickness allows for installation in tight clearances.
- Features a versatile design that can be secured via the adhesive backing or with mechanical fasteners.
- Excellent for protecting painted surfaces from extreme thermal exposure.
- Note: Do not apply this material directly to exhaust components.
