The DEI Heat Screen (MPN 10401) is a professional-grade thermal barrier designed to protect vehicle interiors, fuel tanks, and body panels from excessive engine and exhaust heat. Measuring 36 in. x 40 in. with a slim 0.060 in. profile, this matting is constructed from high-temperature resistant fiberglass bonded to a superior reflective aluminized surface.
This flexible matting is easily trimmed to size, making it ideal for shielding floorboards under carpeting or protecting painted surfaces from heat-induced blistering. While it can withstand significant temperatures, it is designed for use as a secondary barrier and should never be applied directly to exhaust components.
