DEI Heat Sheath (10403) provides critical thermal protection and abrasion resistance for wires, cables, and hoses in high-temperature automotive environments. Engineered with 19 oz high-temperature glass fiber insulation bonded to an aluminized outer layer, this sleeving reflects damaging radiant heat while remaining pliable enough for tight bends and complex routing.
- High-Heat Performance: Rated to withstand up to 500°F of direct, continuous heat and up to 2000°F of radiant heat.
- Durable Construction: Features a sewn edge reinforced with aramid thread for superior flame-retardant performance and resistance to fraying.
- Chemical Resistance: Protects internal lines from oil spills, chemicals, dirt, grease, and road grime.
- Simple Installation: Designed to slide over lines once unhooked; material can be easily trimmed to length with standard shears.
