DEI Heat Sheath GOLD (MPN 10917) provides high-level thermal protection and abrasion resistance for critical lines, hoses, and wiring. Constructed from a high-temperature metalized polyimide lamination bonded to a robust 20oz heat-treated glass fiber base, this 1-inch diameter sleeve is engineered to reflect up to 90% of radiant heat in demanding engine bay environments.
The sleeving is reinforced with aramid thread for superior durability and flame-retardant performance. By keeping components cool and flexible, it prevents heat-related failures and premature wear. The slide-on design ensures a secure fit for lines that can be disconnected during installation; simply unhook the line, cut the sleeve to length, slide it on, and reattach.
