DEI Reflect-A-GOLD provides a professional-grade thermal barrier for protecting critical automotive components from radiant heat. This material is engineered from a metalized polyimide laminated to a lightweight glass fiber cloth, backed with a high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive. At only 0.0065 inches thick, it requires virtually no clearance and is easily trimmed to size for custom applications on firewalls, fuel cells, engine covers, and intake tubes.
- Thermal Performance: Handles continuous operating temperatures up to 800°F.
- Adhesive Strength: Features a high-temp adhesive with a release liner rated to 325°F.
- Durability: Resists UV degradation for long-term performance in demanding environments.
