DEI Reflect-A-GOLD (10393) provides a professional-grade solution for managing radiant heat in high-performance environments. This adhesive-backed heat shield is constructed from a metalized polyimide film laminated to a lightweight glass fiber cloth, engineered to protect air boxes, intakes, firewalls, and fuel cells from heat soak and UV degradation.
At just 0.0065 inches thick, this material requires virtually no clearance, making it ideal for tight engine compartments and transmission tunnels. The high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive is protected by a release liner and ensures a secure bond even in extreme temperature swing environments. Note: This material is designed for radiant heat protection and should not be applied directly to exhaust components.
