The Diamond Eye 162004 3-inch stainless steel downpipe kit is engineered to replace the restrictive factory "pancake" downpipe. By utilizing CNC mandrel-bent tubing, this kit maintains a consistent diameter throughout the bend, significantly reducing backpressure and helping to lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs). This improved exhaust flow allows the turbocharger to spool faster and operate more efficiently under load.
