This 4-inch aluminum driveshaft from The Driveshaft Shop (DSS) is a high-performance upgrade designed to replace the factory drivetrain components with a lightweight, high-strength solution. Engineered to handle extreme power levels up to 1400HP+, this shaft is ideal for forced induction builds or heavy-duty performance applications where the OEM shaft may fail. By utilizing 6061-T6 aluminum, this unit significantly reduces rotational mass compared to heavy steel alternatives, resulting in improved throttle response and faster acceleration.
Each driveshaft is precision-balanced to eliminate high-speed vibrations and is built to the tightest tolerances for a direct-fit installation. It comes ready to install with high-quality universal joints and the necessary hardware to mate with the 9.75-inch rear differential found on select F-150 configurations.
