This 1-piece aluminum driveshaft from The Driveshaft Shop (DSS) is a critical upgrade for high-performance Mustangs that have moved to the Magnum XL transmission platform. By replacing the heavy, multi-piece factory unit with a lightweight 3.5-inch diameter 6061-T6 aluminum shaft, you significantly reduce rotational mass. This results in more immediate power transfer, improved throttle response, and reduced drivetrain parasitic loss.
