This 1-piece aluminum driveshaft from The Driveshaft Shop (DSS) is a critical upgrade for high-performance Mustangs that have moved to the Magnum XL transmission platform. By replacing the heavy, multi-piece factory unit with a lightweight 3.5-inch diameter 6061-T6 aluminum shaft, you significantly reduce rotational mass. This results in more immediate power transfer, improved throttle response, and reduced drivetrain parasitic loss.
Built to handle the increased torque capacity of aftermarket 6-speed swaps, this shaft is balanced to eliminate high-speed vibrations common in performance applications. It comes ready for installation with high-quality hardware designed to bolt directly into your conversion setup.
