Fits 2004-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI and WRX STI Limited equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission and R180 rear differential.
The Driveshaft Shop (DSS) 1-piece aluminum driveshaft is a performance upgrade designed to replace the heavy, multi-piece factory steel assembly. By moving to a 1-piece configuration, you eliminate the center support bearing—a common point of failure and parasitic drag—while significantly reducing rotational mass. This reduction in weight allows the drivetrain to spin up faster, resulting in noticeably sharper throttle response and improved power delivery.
Each shaft is manufactured from high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum tubing, precision-welded, and high-speed balanced to ensure vibration-free operation at high RPMs. This is a direct-fit component that bolts into the factory location without the need for chassis modification.
