The Eaton Detroit Truetrac is a helical-gear style, limited-slip differential designed to maximize wheel traction and improve handling for 5th Gen Camaro applications. Unlike traditional clutch-style differentials, the Truetrac utilizes a maintenance-free helical gear design that operates smoothly and quietly without the need for friction modifiers or special lubrication.
This differential provides automatic engagement in both forward and reverse, delivering optimized torque bias ratios to ensure maximum acceleration and stable power delivery during cornering. Its durable construction replaces the factory unit to provide consistent performance without the wear and tear associated with friction discs.
