The Eaton Detroit Truetrac is a premier helical-gear style limited-slip differential designed to provide smooth, automatic traction on demand. Unlike traditional clutch-type differentials, the Truetrac utilizes a maintenance-free gear design that requires no special lubrication or friction modifiers. This unit performs as an open differential under normal conditions and automatically transfers torque to the wheel with the most traction when wheel slip occurs. Engineered for durability and quiet operation, it remains effective in both forward and reverse, making it a reliable traction solution for heavy-duty applications.
