EBC Brakes BSD Series front rotors are engineered for drivers who demand improved thermal management and consistent pedal feel. These rotors are cast from a high-carbon, thermally stable gray iron alloy, which significantly reduces the risk of rotor cracking or warping under heavy braking conditions. The unique "Vee Slot" design is optimized to sweep away water, gas, and debris while pulling cool air across the friction surface to lower operating temperatures compared to standard OE-style rotors.
The specialized silent slot pattern ensures the performance benefits of a slotted rotor are achieved without the excessive wind noise often associated with aggressive performance brakes. These are a direct-fit replacement for factory units, mounting to existing factory points for a straightforward installation.
