Fits select 2001-2009 Toyota Sequoia, FJ Cruiser, 4Runner, and Lexus GX470. These EBC Brakes GD Series Sport rotors are engineered to improve braking performance for heavy SUVs and vehicles used for towing or high-speed driving.
Constructed from high-quality grey cast iron to OE specifications, these rotors feature a unique dimpled and wide-slotted design. Unlike fully drilled rotors, the dimpled surface maintains structural integrity while providing an exit path for brake gases. The wide slots draw cool air into the braking zone, reducing temperatures and helping to eliminate brake fade under heavy loads. Additionally, the slotted pattern effectively clears dirt, dust, and debris from the pad contact area to ensure consistent friction.
Every GD7161 rotor is gold-anodized for corrosion resistance, specifically tailored for import vehicle aesthetics. EBC ensures precision by testing each rotor for tensile strength, grain structure, and hardness, with 100% of units checked for runout to guarantee a perfect install.
