EBC Brakes Redstuff ceramic brake pads (DP31552C) are engineered for high-performance street use on heavy sedans and sport compacts. This synthetic fiber compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to provide a high-friction bite while significantly reducing brake dust by approximately 50% compared to factory semi-metallic pads. Because the material contains no steel fibers, the minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and can be easily washed away without damaging wheel finishes.

Designed for repeated heavy braking, Redstuff pads maintain a high 0.5 nominal friction coefficient and offer superior heat fade resistance. Each pad features EBC’s proprietary Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor and accelerates the bed-in process. Note that as a high-performance ceramic compound, these pads may require up to 1,000 miles for full bed-in to ensure optimal contact with the rotor surface.
