EBC Brakes BSD Series rotors are engineered for drivers seeking improved thermal management and consistent stopping power. Cast from a specialized high-carbon thermally stable iron, these rotors are designed to withstand the intense heat generated during spirited driving or heavy braking scenarios, significantly reducing the risk of rotor warping or cracking.
The unique Blade Sport Disc (BSD) design features a directional 'V' slot pattern. This layout is specifically optimized to sweep away water, dust, and gases from the contact patch while improving heat dispersion across the rotor face. This allows your brake pads to run cooler than they would on standard OE-style solid or vented rotors, maintaining a high friction coefficient and reducing brake fade.
