EBC Brakes Redstuff ceramic brake pads are engineered for premium street performance and high-performance sedans. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to deliver a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 while remaining the lowest-dust option in the EBC lineup. Redstuff is proven to reduce visible dust by 60-90% compared to standard semi-metallic pads; because the formula contains no steel fibers, the minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and easily removed with a simple wash.
Designed for repeated heavy braking, these pads provide excellent thermal stability and effective bite from cold. Each set includes the EBC Brake-In™ surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding process. As a hard-wearing ceramic material, Redstuff requires a patient bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles to fully conform to the brake rotor for maximum performance.
