Fits select 2005-2013 Mazda 3, Saab 9-3, and Volvo C70, S40, and V50 models. These EBC Redstuff front brake pads (DP31574C) are engineered for high-performance street use and premium sedans requiring superior stopping power with minimal maintenance.
The Redstuff compound is a synthetic fiber-based material enhanced with ceramic particles, designed to deliver a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5. This ceramic-enhanced formula significantly reduces brake dust by 60% to 90% compared to factory pads. Because the compound contains no steel fiber particles, any remaining dust is non-abrasive and easily washed away, protecting your wheel finish from permanent pitting.
Each pad features the EBC Brake-In surface coating, which accelerates the bed-in process and conditions the rotor surface immediately after installation. While these pads offer excellent cold bite equivalent to or better than original equipment, they are hard-wearing components that may require a bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles for maximum performance. Most applications are approved to ECE R90 brake safety regulations.
