EBC Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use, providing a significant upgrade for your braking system. These pads utilize a synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles to deliver a 0.5 nominal friction coefficient, offering superior stopping power from cold while resisting heat fade during spirited driving. This material is designed to stop a typical passenger vehicle up to 13 meters sooner from 100mph/160kph than standard OE pads.
A primary benefit of the Redstuff compound is the reduction of visible brake dust by up to 60-90% compared to standard pads. The remaining dust contains no metallic fibers, making it less abrasive to wheels and easier to wash off. Each pad includes the EBC Brake-In surface coating to help condition the rotors and speed up the initial seating process. Note that as a hard-wearing performance pad, full bed-in may take up to 1,000 miles to ensure optimal contact with the rotor.
