EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered as a premium upgrade for high-performance street cars and luxury sedans. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to provide superior stopping power while significantly reducing brake dust by 60-90%. Unlike many performance pads, Redstuff is free of steel fiber particles, ensuring that any minimal dust produced is non-corrosive and easily removed with a simple wash.

Designed for repeated heavy braking, these pads offer a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 and maintain strong bite from cold through high operating temperatures. In testing, this compound has been proven to stop vehicles up to 13 meters shorter than OEM pads from 100mph (160kph). Each set includes EBC's proprietary Brake-In™ red surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding-in process. Note that as a hard-wearing ceramic material, these pads may require a bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles to achieve full rotor contact.
