EBC Brakes Redstuff ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium sedans. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to deliver a high friction coefficient of 0.5 while significantly reducing brake dust compared to OE or semi-metallic pads. Designed for repeated heavy braking, these pads offer excellent heat fade resistance and improved stopping power, with testing showing up to a 13-meter reduction in stopping distance from 100 mph.
Each pad features EBC’s proprietary Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. Note that as a hard-wearing ceramic compound, these pads may require a bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles to achieve full contact with the rotor surface.
