Fits select 2013-2024 Porsche 911 and 718 Cayman models (3.8L) equipped with cast iron rotors. These EBC Brakes Redstuff rear brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium sedans, providing a significant upgrade over factory components.
Redstuff is a synthetic fiber-based brake compound enhanced with ceramic particles, designed to deliver high friction (nominal 0.5 coefficient) and superior heat fade resistance. The non-metallic formula reduces brake dust by 60-90%, and any remaining dust is easily removed with a sponge wash as it contains no steel fiber particles. Unlike many performance pads, Redstuff offers excellent cold bite that improves as the brakes reach operating temperature.
Each pad features EBC's Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding process. Most applications are approved to ECE R90 brake safety regulations. Please note that as a hard-wearing ceramic material, these pads require a patient bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles to achieve full contact with the rotor surface.
