EBC Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are the premier choice for fast street driving and premium performance sedans. Engineered with a synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, these pads significantly reduce brake dust by 60-90% compared to original equipment. The non-metallic formula prevents steel fiber particles from bonding to your wheels, making maintenance easier with a simple sponge wash.
These pads provide excellent cold bite and maintain high friction levels as they reach operating temperatures, offering a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5. Each pad set features EBC’s proprietary Brake-In red surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. Due to the hard-wearing nature of the ceramic material, a bed-in period of approximately 1,000 miles is required to reach full performance capacity.
