EBC Greenstuff 2000 Series brake pads are engineered as a premium street upgrade for sport compacts and sedans. These pads provide a significant increase in stopping power compared to factory components, featuring a high initial brake effect that delivers consistent performance from the first application. Formulated to manage heat effectively, these pads maintain their bite up to 600°C (1100°F), making them ideal for spirited street driving and reducing heat fade.
The Greenstuff compound is designed to produce less dust than standard OE pads, and the residue created is specifically formulated to be more easily washed off. With a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.55, this pad set (DP22170) offers a direct improvement in braking response for the Mazda 6 chassis without the need for extensive bedding-in periods.
