EBC Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance premium sedans and fast street use where low dust and high stopping power are priorities. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to deliver a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 while reducing brake dust by 60% to 90% compared to traditional pads. Unlike semi-metallic pads, the ceramic-rich formula contains no steel fibers, making any residual dust easy to remove during a routine wash without risking wheel finish damage.

These pads provide an immediate cold bite equivalent to or better than original equipment and maintain thermal stability as temperatures rise, effectively resisting heat fade. Every pad features EBC’s proprietary Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. Note that due to the hard-wearing nature of the ceramic material, full bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles for the pad to perfectly conform to the rotor face.
