EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are a premium performance upgrade designed for fast street use and heavy luxury sedans. Utilizing a synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, these pads offer superior stopping power with a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5. Engineered to perform reliably from cold while resisting heat fade during repeated heavy braking, Redstuff provides a significant improvement over standard OE components.
- Low Dust Formula: Reduces brake dust by 60-90% compared to semi-metallic pads; the non-steel fiber particles are easily washed away with a simple sponge and water.
- Brake-In Technology: Features EBC's proprietary red surface coating to condition the rotor surface and accelerate the pad-to-rotor bed-in process.
- Safety Certified: Most Redstuff Ceramic pads are approved to ECE R90 brake safety regulations for peace of mind and performance reliability.
- Performance Tested: Proven to reduce stopping distances by up to 13 meters from 100mph compared to factory equipment.
