EBC Ultimax Slotted Rotors (RK7706) provide the thermal management benefits of a slotted performance rotor without the resonant air noise typical of traditional designs. These premium front rotors are engineered with narrow, progressively angled slots that draw cool air across the friction surface to maintain optimal operating temperatures while ensuring quiet operation during daily driving.
The slot geometry serves two critical functions: venting out-gases to reduce brake fade and clearing dust and debris from the pad-to-rotor interface. This constant refreshing of the contact patch helps maintain maximum pad grip and prevents the surface ribbing that can shorten component life.
- Angled slot design reduces operating temperatures for more consistent stopping power.
- Quiet-running slot pattern eliminates the "air roar" associated with standard slotted rotors.
