EBC Redstuff is a premium ceramic-enhanced synthetic fiber brake compound designed for high-performance street driving. These rear pads are engineered specifically to minimize brake dust by 60-90% compared to standard semi-metallic pads. Because the formula contains no steel fiber particles, the minimal dust produced is non-corrosive to wheel finishes and easily removed with standard washing.
Redstuff pads provide a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5, offering excellent cold bite and consistent performance as heat builds during repeated heavy braking. Each pad features the EBC Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding process. Due to the hard-wearing nature of the ceramic material, these pads require a patient bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles to achieve full contact with the rotor.
