EBC Redstuff is a premium ceramic-enhanced synthetic fiber brake compound designed for fast street use and high-performance sedans. These pads are specifically engineered to provide a high friction level of 0.5 while significantly reducing brake dust by 60-90% compared to semi-metallic alternatives. Because the compound contains no steel fiber particles, the minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and easily washed off wheels without the need for aggressive cleaners.

These pads provide excellent initial bite from cold, matching or exceeding OE performance, and maintain thermal stability as temperatures rise during spirited driving. Each pad features EBC’s proprietary Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding-in process. Note that as a hard-wearing ceramic compound, full bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles for the pads to fully conform to the rotor surface.
