EBC Redstuff is a high-performance ceramic-enhanced synthetic fiber brake compound engineered specifically for fast street driving and premium passenger vehicles. Designed to solve the issue of excessive brake dust, these pads reduce visible dust by up to 60-90% compared to standard semi-metallic pads. Because the compound contains no steel fiber particles, any minimal dust generated is non-corrosive and easily removed with a standard wash.

These pads provide a significant performance upgrade over OE materials, featuring a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5. They deliver strong initial bite even when cold and maintain consistent performance as heat increases. To ensure a professional installation, each pad is finished with EBC’s proprietary Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding-in process. Note that Redstuff is a hard-wearing material; for optimal performance, a patient bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles is required to properly mate the pads to the rotors.
