EBC Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium sedans. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to deliver a high 0.5 nominal friction coefficient while significantly reducing brake dust by up to 60-90% compared to semi-metallic pads. Because the formula contains no steel fibers, the minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and easily washed away with standard cleaning.
These pads feature EBC’s proprietary Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding process. Designed for repeated heavy braking, Redstuff pads maintain high friction levels with minimal heat fade. Note that as a hard-wearing ceramic material, these pads may require a bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles to achieve full rotor contact.
