EBC Redstuff ceramic brake pads are designed for high-performance street use on premium sedans and sport compacts. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to deliver significantly lower dust levels than traditional semi-metallic pads—reducing visible dust by up to 50%. The non-steel fiber formulation ensures that any remaining dust is non-abrasive and easily removed during standard washing, protecting the finish of your wheels.
These pads offer a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5, providing excellent cold bite and improved thermal stability as temperatures rise. To ensure proper performance from the start, EBC applies a unique "Brake-In" surface coating that conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. Note that Redstuff is a hard-wearing material; full bed-in may take up to 1,000 miles to perfectly conform to the rotor shape.
