Fits 1993-2010 Lexus GS300, GS400, GS430, IS300, and SC430, along with 1993-1998 Toyota Supra Base models.
EBC Redstuff ceramic brake pads are engineered for spirited street driving and premium sedans, offering a significant reduction in brake dust—approximately 50% less than semi-metallic alternatives. The DP31223C compound is a ceramic-enhanced synthetic fiber material that contains no steel fibers, preventing the aggressive rotor wear and stubborn metallic dust common with OE pads. These pads perform reliably from cold and improve as they reach operating temperature, making them ideal for repeated heavy braking scenarios.
- Ceramic Compound: Synthetic fiber base with ceramic particles for quiet, low-dust performance.
- High Friction: Nominal 0.5 friction coefficient provides strong initial bite and resistance to heat fade.
- Brake-In Coating: Features a specialized surface coating that conditions the rotor and accelerates the pad bed-in process.
- Safety Certified: Designed to meet or exceed ECE R90 brake safety regulations.
- Hard-Wearing Durability: Provides a longer service life than previous Redstuff iterations while remaining quiet.
Note: Due to the hard-wearing nature of this ceramic material, a bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles is required for the pads to fully conform to the rotor surface and achieve maximum stopping power.
