EBC Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium sedans. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to deliver significantly lower dust levels—typically 60-90% less than semi-metallic pads—while providing superior stopping power. Because the formula contains no steel fibers, the minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and easily washed off wheels with a simple sponge wash.

These pads offer a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 and maintain consistent performance from cold through high operating temperatures, proven to stop vehicles up to 13 meters quicker than OEM pads from 100mph. Each pad features EBC’s proprietary Brake-In™ red surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. Note that as a hard-wearing ceramic compound, full bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles to achieve optimal contact with the rotor surface.
