Fits 2012-2019 BMW M5 and M6 (4.4L) models, including Gran Coupe. These EBC Racing SG Racing 2-piece rotors are engineered to reduce unsprung rotational mass, providing sharper steering response and improved tire road holding. By replacing the heavy factory units with a floating design, these rotors allow the friction ring to expand and contract freely under heat, preventing warping and brake fade.
The construction features high-carbon cast iron friction rings secured to hard-anodized aluminum center bells via stainless steel bobbins. This modular design offers a significant long-term benefit for performance drivers: when the friction rings reach their wear limit, the outer rings can be replaced individually while reusing the center hubs and hardware, effectively lowering your maintenance costs over the life of the vehicle.
